The technology of 2D ultrasound has been available for years and is used for medical evaluation of the growing fetus. It is the preferred method for looking inside your baby, but offers little opportunity for you to see your baby’s outward appearance. With 3D ultrasound technology, you are given this opportunity to learn more about your baby since it provides you with an image that closely resembles a photograph of your baby.
