Joy Shaker has worked in the ultrasound field full-time for over 25 years. She has been providing ultrasound videos and images to parents-to-be for 5 years. Mothers may bring their children, friends, grandparents, or any family and friends they desire to their appointment. Peek-A-Boo Baby will provide you with information about the sex of your baby if you so desire. If the baby is in a position where the gender cannot be determined, mothers may return for another peek free of charge.

While I ultrasound, I typically explain what parents are looking at and what is looked for in a medical scan. If I see a problem or anything unexpected, I call the parent’s obstetrician. Most doctors have been appreciative and then schedule a medical scan. Many of my customers have had an ultrasound early in the pregnancy because of spotting, etc... Their insurance won't cover another sonogram and they find mine to be quite affordable."

One of the most common referrals to Peek-A-Boo Baby comes from a doctor or an ultrasound technologist who doesn't have the time to look for the baby's sex at the patient’s visit. Typically, an ultrasound technologist has about 30 minutes to assess the baby, the uterus and ovaries, placenta, cervix, get all the needed measurements, and do the required paperwork. They simply don't have time to have Mom roll this way and that in an attempt to get the baby in a position to see the gender.
